Film About Fermilab
I saw that someone mentioned my post about Glamour Magazine criticizing the Bush Administration, and I discovered that the author is producing a film about Fermilab. Here is a description from the the company website.
Our film examines a year in the life of the accelerator at Fermilab as it smashes atoms in search of the Higgs particle, the incredible science behind it, the fascinating people who tend to it, the budget that funds it, and the culture that surrounds it. Will the discovery happen? Does the United States have the determination to maintain its role as scientific leader? Or will we slip behind and watch as the greatest minds in physics drift across the Atlantic in droves, closing a great chapter in American scientific progress?
I was surprised that I had not heard about this. I look forward to seeing it.
